I know there is summer in October in many parts of the world, but one wouldn't expect it in England! :) Yet during the last week of September and beginning of October we had temperatures between 20-29 degrees (68-84 F)! It was actually a lot warmer than when we went on our beach trip to Wales. Oh, the joy! So I didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to have a nice outing at the park, picnic and everything, which we did on the same Saturday we had the "kids run free" race.
Judging by the number of cars you can see in the first picture, a lot of other people had the same idea. :)

It was so much fun to just play, relax and soak up as much sun as we could. So yes, we had a great summer picnic on the 1st of October! :)
