Ben had a birthday!

These posts are not in chronological order. I haven't finished writing about our trip to California, so here goes some more.
We celebrated Ben's birthday the day after we got back to Granite Bay from Santa Cruz (April 19th). Mom and dad took just the two of us out to dinner. Ben chose a Mexican restaurant - we get pretty much any kind of food in the UK (delicious Indian and loads of it!), but haven't yet found an authentic Mexican place.
I forgot to take pictures at the restaurant :(, but snapped a silly one on our way home while we were waiting in the car for mom to get gas. :)

Mom made Ben an ice cream cake - his favorite!

I had to help with blowing the candles as they were the crazy kind that keep lighting up again and again. :)

I got so wrapped up in catching up with my friends Lucy and Alice that I forgot to take any other pictures. :)

All in all I think Ben had a great birthday, celebrating with Family and friends!
