General Conference!

My heart is full of gratitude and I feel blessed beyond measure; the reason - two amazing Spirits that have been entrusted to our care. I'm still trying to figure out what I have done to deserve them. I am humbled. I am joyful. I also recognize the immense responsibility that is ours to raise them well, to raise them right!

Here they are, on Saturday afternoon, taking notes (without any prompting from us!) during the first session of General Conference. :)

Andrei's "Jenral Confrence" notes. :) A few highlights - two new temples announced: Utah and Brazil. Boys can serve missions at 18, girls at 19. "Reading the scriptures is good. We will be strengthened. What e'er thou art act well thy part." :)
"He forgives us. The Lord loves us. Again and again. He forgives. People can change." :)
I can tell you one thing - this boy can spell!!! (and he will barely turn 6 in June!) (Ok, minus the "jenral"  bit) :)

A few highlights from Alexandra's notes -
"The power of the priesthood protects our home."
" We know we are children of God."
"Me, mama, and Lila are daughters of God!" :) ("Lila" is the nickname my kids have for my mom and the smiley face is part of Alexa's notes, not mine, although I fully agree :) )
"The Lord knows our weaknesses. The Lord wants to forgive".

Alexandra took some notes on Sunday too and although I didn't take a picture of those, I was surprised to find the following in her notebook: "God's light can do many things. God gives us many blessings. He (Pres. Uchtdorf) and his wife once got to know that God's light is always there even if you don't have everything you need. Darkness will never win against God's light."
Aww, how I love these kids!

A tender moment with grandma Lila :)

The London Temple was shown, among many others, during the "World Report"!

I am grateful for a living prophet, for the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, and for the amazing light, peace, love, and happiness this Gospel brings into my life!

Impresionant! Ce copiii destepti si minunati ai. Nu imi vine sa cred ca Andrei face 6 ani. Wow! Credeam ca e mai de 4 ani si jumate. La mine de abia au vrut sa asculte ceva, joaca e mai importanta se pare. :(
Te pup!
