Fun at "Hatton Farm"

Now that the kids are on their summer break and we are not going on vacation (as we had a pretty big one in April when we went to the States), I'm constantly worrying about finding fun things for them to do so that they feel it's a real break and not just another day at home... I must admit, it's all in my head, they are actually quite happy just being at home and playing.

Anyway, a few days ago my mom and I took them to "Hatton Farm", a place packed with fun activities for kids and only about a 15 minute drive from our house. We've lived here for more than 2 years, but never been.
The weather was perfect, with clear blue skies and the sun shining (yes, we do get that here in England once in a blue moon :-).

Alexandra LOVES ponies, horses and all things related, so she found herself in a small paradise :)

We had so much fun that we are now contemplating getting annual passes to Hatton Farm. Hmmm...
